In the first place, we find iPhone 12 in its standard version, followed by the top of the range iPhone 12 Pro Max. On the third position of the list is iPhone 12 Pro, while on the fourth is the “old” iPhone 11.
Apple’s dominance is interrupted by two Redmi devices, a rib of the Chinese Xiaomi. The smartphones in question are respectively the Redmi 9A in fifth place and the Redmi 9 in the sixth. These two smartphones, according to analysts, contributed 25% to the total sales of Xiaomi smartphones in January.
The ranking continues with a Samsung smartphone, precisely the Galaxy A21s. The Korean giant’s budget device has found great success among users, thanks to its aggressive price and a minimal and youthful design.
In eighth place, as anticipated, here is the iPhone 12 Mini. The compact version did not convince users and disregarded the US company’s sales forecasts, forcing Apple to cut production sharply, so much to risk paying the penalty to Samsung Display.
Samsung Galaxy A31 and iPhone SE 2020 conclude the ranking this best selling smartphones 2021.
